At ENCORE Research Group we have many employees who work behind the scenes and never get to meet patients. Amanda Elwood is a prime example, as she is the Regulatory Specialist at our Jacksonville office handling regulatory compliance and lots of the paperwork it takes to get new studies started. She manages the study start-up process for all 8 ENCORE sites! She has been with us since 2014.

Amanda spends her time at home with her two fur-babies, Gus and Murphy – a golden retriever and a yellow lab. They enjoy going to the beach, walks on trails, hanging out at the local brewery, and taking day trips to St. Augustine. If there is a puppy friendly place, Gus and Murphy are there!

Amanda also loves to travel, and has been to Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, England, Italy and Puerto Rico. She is always up for a new adventure!
