We are proud at First Coast Heart & Vascular Center to have a world-class team of cardiologists well-trained in a number of different subspecialties in our field. These specialties include performing complex interventions on coronary arteries, arrhythmias, and surgeries. We hold an equal interest in how to prevent people from developing atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries, in the first place. As physicians we help prevent additional and repeat procedures and operations by closely monitoring our patients and preventing reoccurrence of life threatening diseases.
The educational session will address some of the strategies to treat high cholesterol and other blood fat problems, specifically in regards to preventing future complications in patients with a history of heart disease. We will talk about some of the investigational approaches that Dr. Koren and the team have led here in Jacksonville. Some of these investigational approaches may be available to you in the future.
This program is at no charge to you and is an exclusive invitation for patients at First Coast Heart & Vascular and their family members. The investigational research is free to all who participate.
We look forward to meeting you at this exciting educational event and discussing any questions you might have regarding treatment of high cholesterol and in particular the type of work being done by First Coast Heart & Vascular physicians to prevent the scourge of heart disease and future complications.
