Are you living with knee pain from osteoarthritis and struggling to manage your weight?  

Westside Center for Clinical Research is testing an investigational treatment designed to help adults with knee arthritis who are overweight or obese. 

Osteoarthritis is a common condition that can cause: 

• Aching or stiff knees, especially in the morning 
• Pain with movement, walking, or climbing stairs 
• Swelling or grinding/clicking sensations 
• Limited knee mobility 

Excess weight can make knee pain worse and make it harder to stay active or lose weight. This study offers expert care, monitoring, and nutrition support to participants while testing a new treatment. 

Who Can Participate 

You may be eligible if you: 

• Are 18 years or older 
• Have a BMI of 27 or higher (overweight or obese) 
• Have chronic knee pain from osteoarthritis lasting 3 months or more 
• Experience knee pain on most days (at least 15 days per month) 
• Have moderate knee pain  
• Have tried diet-based weight loss without long-term success 

Note: Participants cannot have diabetes and must maintain a stable body weight.
