Painful Diabetic Neuropathy Clinical Research
Diabetic peripheral neuropathy is a disease that affects the nervous system and causes pain in the feet, legs, and hands of people with diabetes.
Fleming Island Center for Clinical Research is conducting a research study that will evaluate an investigational medication for Diabetic Neuropathy. This study will evaluate the effectiveness of the investigational medication in treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy pain.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Are 18+ years old
- Have type 1 or type 2 diabetes (T1DM or T2DM)
- Have diabetic peripheral neuropathy pain in both feet/ankles
- Have a BMI of 18-40
- Have moderate to severe pain in both feet/ankles
- Are NOT taking THC-containing drugs or medications
There are additional criteria to meet to qualify for this study. Volunteers who qualify for our study will receive study-related medication & medical exams at no cost, and a stipend for time and travel. No health insurance is required to participate.
