A native Floridian, Marie Bates is a Nurse practitioner and Sub Investigator at SJCCR.  She has earned a master’s in adult nursing, master’s in health care administration and Post Graduate Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.  Most of her career was spent in Nursing and Hospital Administration but later, transitioned to practice as a NP. She has worked in a variety of settings and always found time to volunteer. She is currently working part time with an Infectious Disease group which allows her time to participate in some of the research studies at SJCCR.
